Customs Preventive holding public auction today

LAHORE: The Customs Collectorate of Preventive will hold public auction of confiscated goods and vehicles today (Thursday).

As per details, the auction will be held on June 16, 2016 at the Air Freight Unit (AFU) Saps Cargo Shed Airport  at 11am.

The collectorate will put for auction seized goods and articles worth millions of rupees beside 13 luxury vehicles of various models and companies will also presented for auction. The collectorate will present a huge quantity of miscellaneous goods for auction.

The major goods and articles which will be presented for auction includes ring metal jail rolls, industrial rollers, power supply, plastic dana, used generators, aluminum plates, ceramics tiles, art skill cloth, LEDs wall brackets, lady cloth and others.

The vehicle which will be auctioned includes Toyota Noha van, 1996, Toyota Noha van 2001, Toyota Noha van 2002, Mercedes Benz car 2001, Toyota Land Cruiser 1994, Toyota Townace van 1999, Honda Accord car 2004, Toyota Corolla 1992, Toyota Hiace 1997, Toyota Premio 2004, Toyota Vitz 2007, Honda Accord 2004, and Toyota Corolla 2002.

The auction will be held on “as is where is”basis and the participants of the auction will have to deposit a certain amount for security purposes. It is necessary to mention here that customs authorities are holding auctions to enhance revenue collection to meet financial target set for fiscal year 2015-16.
