LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive has entered into an understanding with Razia Begum Dialysis Centre, Bilquees Sarwar Hospital, Ferozpur Road Lahore.
Collector of Customs Preventive Zulfiqar Younas told Customs Today that the collectorate has inked accord with the dialysis centres keeping in view the health care facilities for the customs staff.
He added that the treatment is expensive in the country and this facility would be available for the staff, their relatives and families to a great extent. The collectorate through a notice of announcement said that patient who cannot afford cost of dialysis will be referred to the dialysis centers by the doctor of Customs House dispensary.
The patient who will be referred by the dispensary would be eligible for dialysis services at Razia Begum Dialyses Centre.
It is pertinent to mention here that following the assumption of charge by Samaira Nazir as Chief Collector of Customs and Zulfiqar Younis as Collector Customs Preventive a number of staff welfare oriented steps have been undertaken.
Recently Chief Collector of Customs Samaira Nazir inaugurated Customs House dispensary at the Customs House. The dispensary was set up for the class four staff and their families would be the main beneficiaries of the Customs House dispensary.
Similarly, Collector of Customs has also initiated a pick and drop service for the customs staff working at the faroff establishments of the customs especially Wagha border.
The Customs Lahore staff seems lauding the staff welfare steps of the Chief Collector of Customs Samaira Nazir and Collector of Customs Zulfiqar Younis.
