Customs Preventive recovers amphetamine worth Rs10m from passenger at JIAP

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Preventive team deputed at Departure Lounge of Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) recovered 970 gram amphetamine from a passenger who was going to depart for Saudi Arabia.

According to details, Customs Preventive team during checking of passengers of flight no: SA-707 which was ready to depart for Saudi Arabia intercepted a passenger Ali Murad at Departure Lounge of Jinnah International Airport. During checking of trolley bag, customs team recovered 970 gram of amphetamine worth Rs10 million in international. The amphetamine was tactfully hidden in the handles and side wall of his bag.
