KARACHI: The Customs Preventive has foiled a bid to smuggle mobile phones and wrist watches worth Rs 1.8 million at Jinnah International Airport Karachi.
According to details, customs authorities intercepted three passengers namely Imran, Atif and Ghaffar who landed at the airport from Dubai by Emirates Airline flight No EK 600.
While on thorough search of the baggage of the passengers, the customs authorities found a large number of cellular phones of different brands and dozens of wrist watches.
All the three passengers have been arrested by the customs authorities while further investigations are underway.
