Customs, rangers review security at Wahga border

LAHORE: A meeting was held among customs, Punjab Rangers and other governmental officials regarding the trade and security at Wahga border.

Sources said Punjab Rangers DG Major General Tahir Javaid Khan, Customs Additional Collector Beelam Ramzan and the Punjab chief secretary attended the meeting. They said that the issue to expedite trade between Pakistan and India and security was discussed. They added that the clearance of goods was also discussed in the meeting.

The Interior Ministry has suggested in a report that there should be a separate way for trading vehicles.
