Customs re-determines values of industrial rubber belts, hosepipe

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate of Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of industrial rubber V-belts, industrial rubber conveyor belts and industrial rubber hosepipes.

Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon re-determined these goods through Valuation Ruling No.923/2016, which were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No.359/2011.

The customs values of Industrial Rubber V-belts under PCT 4010 of China are fixed at $2.05/kg, all other origins at $2.3/kg. The customs values of Industrial Rubber conveyor belts under PCT 4010 of China are fixed at $1.70/kg, all other origins at $1.87/kg. The customs values of Industrial Rubber hose pipes under PCT 4009.1190 of China are fixed at $1.20/kg, all other origins at $1.35/kg.
