Customs re-determines values of iron, steel HRC, CRC and GP

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation has issued Valuation Ruling No 717/2015 under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969 in order to determine the customs values of iron and steel HRC, CRC and GP secondary quality.

According to details, the customs values of Iron and Steel HRC Secondary quality having PCT Heading 7208.1010; 7208.2510; 7208.2610; 7208.2710; 7208.3610; 7208.3710; 7208.3810; 7208.3910; 7208.4010; 7208.4010; 7208.5110; 7208.5210; 7208.5310; 7208.5410 and 7208.9010 and proposed PCT for WeBOC are 7208.1010.1000; 7208.2510.1000; 7208.2610.1000; 7208.2710.1000; 7208.3610.1000; 7208.3710.1000; 7208.3810.1000; 7208.3910.1000; 7208.4010.1000; 7208.4010.1000; 7208.5110.1000; 7208.5210.1000; 7208.5310.1000; 7208.5410.1000 and 7208.9010.1000 have fixed at LMB prices of prime quality less 15per cent (on account of secondary quality difference), add $40 per matric tones (on account of freight charges).

The Customs values of Iron and Steel GP Coil secondary quality having PCT Heading 7210.4910 and proposed PCT for WeBOC is 7210.4910.1000 have fixed at LMB prices of prime quality less 15 per cent (on account of secondary quality difference), add $40per matric tones (on account of freight charges).

It is pertinent to mention here that the said Valuation Ruling No717/2015 has superseded the previously issued Valuation Ruling No. 560/2013 in this regard.
