Customs recovers 600kg hashish from bus in Kalat

QUETTA: Balochistan Customs Department has seized around 600kg of hashish (Chars) from a Quetta-Karachi bound passenger coach in Kalat district of Balochistan.

Balochistan Customs Intelligence Director Iqbal Bhuwana, addressing a news conference in the provincial capital, said that Customs officials acting on a tip-off chased the passenger coach to Karachi from Quetta, in Kalat area. He said that the officials intercepted the bus on Kalat RCD Highway at 2am midnight, howeve, the bus driver fled from the scene.
