NEW YORK: The United States deployed a P-3 surveillance plane to track a suspicious speedboat near Curacao, and sent the information to the Royal Netherlands Navy.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection worked with the Royal Netherlands Navy last month to intercept a 970 pound cocaine shipment in the Caribbean Sea.
Customs and Border Protection published a news release about the operation on Wednesday.
On Oct. 17, the United States deployed a P-3 surveillance plane to track a suspicious speedboat near Curacao, and sent the information to the Royal Netherlands Navy.
The Navy ship stopped the speedboat and recovered 970 pounds of cocaine, according to the news release.
