Customs revenues of Azerbaijani state budget increase

BAKU: Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee transferred almost 347.6 million manats to the state budget in January-February 2017 that is by 42.9 percent more than in the same period of 2016, according to a report of the committee. The committee transferred almost 174 million manats to the state budget in February 2017. Revenues from customs duties amounted to 44.2 million manats, from the value added tax – about 124.6 million manats, from excise duties – 2.7 million manats, from highway-user tax – 2.1 million manats in February 2017.

In February 2017, the committee’s revenues from customs duties increased by 11.5 percent as compared to February 2016. Revenues from value added tax increased by 28.85 percent, from excise duties – by 2.5 times, while revenues from highway-user tax decreased by 4.5 percent. The forecast on customs revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget is 2.2 billion manats for 2017.
