KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) made their largest-ever heroin seizure on Sunday.
Sources told Customs Today that customs officials discovered two kilograms of high-quality heroin hidden in a secret compartment of a passenger’s suitcase.
The passenger was en-route to Malaysia when he was apprehended at the Karachi airport.
This operation, conducted under the supervision of Deputy Collector Hammad Ahmed, was a major success for law enforcement at Jinnah International Airport.
Authorities are now intensifying efforts to uncover the larger smuggling network involved.
An FIR has been registered, and further investigations are ongoing.
