KARACHI: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has recovered 300 smuggled mobiles, 25 laptops, and 12 kilograms heroin during a crackdown.
Sources informed Customs Today, that Director Intelligence Mohammad Asghar Khan received information that some computer accessories were being smuggled. He constituted a Customs team under the supervision of Deputy Director Khayal Mohammad and two inspectors.
The team intercepted a coach near Nowshera and recovered 300 smuggled mobile phones worth Rs 3 million and 25 laptops. The team also recovered 12 kilograms hashish which was hidden in secret parts of the coach. The Customs team arrested the driver of coach and started further investigations in this regard.
