Customs seizes 34,600kg smuggled black gram in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A team of Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has seized 34,600 kilogrammes of foreign-origin black gram worth Rs 3.46 million, packed in 385 PP bags and loaded onto a truck bearing registration number MAM-797.

As per the details, on the instructions of Hyderabad Customs Collector Ahmed Mujtaba Memon, the ASO team raided and seized the smuggled lentil weighing 34,600kg.
