LAHORE: Customs authorities have seized 500 grams of heroin from a post office.
Sources informed Customs Today that after receiving a tip-off, the Customs authorities raided the post office and recovered 500 grams of heroin which was pasted on the pages of books.
The smuggler, who was later identified as Waris Khan, a resident of Vehari, attempted to smuggle heroin to Holland via post office.
The Customs authorities seized the books, arrested Waris Khan and registered a case of smuggling against him. The Customs authorities have started collecting the data of person who was going to receive this parcel.
Further investigations are in progress.
