Customs seizes 54 iPhones worth Rs 2m at Lahore airport

LAHORE: The customs officials have foiled a bid to smuggle 54 mobile phones worth Rs 2 million into Pakistan at Lahore airport.

According to the details, the customs officials deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport checked the luggage of a passenger who was coming Abu Dhabi but they found no illegal items.

After customs clearance, when he was going out of the arrival lounge, the officials again intercepted him on his suspicious walk and conducted physical examination.
