Customs seizes foreign liquor, imported medicines worth Rs77m in May

ISLAMABAD: Customs team deputed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport seized 250 bottles of foreign origin liquor and imported medicines worth Rs0.77 million in month of May 2016.

According to details these medicines and liquor were seized from baggage of passengrs who were arrived here from abroad.

The source of Benazir Bhutto International Airport BBIA told Customs today that in month of May the BBIA staff seized Liquor in quantity of 250 foreign origin liquor worth Rs0.05 million.

The source also said that the staff of BBIA seized a heavy amount of illegal imported medicines of Rs0.27 million by the badges of unknown passengers who were trying to depart these medicines to abroad.
