Customs seizes goods worth Rs 11 million

LAHORE: Customs officials impounded valuable cloth of foreign origin, non-duty paid cigarettes and cigars worth Rs 11 million, official sources said.

Sources said that four scouts of anti-smuggling collectively raided a bus at Shera Kot upon information received by Customs Collector Junaid Akram and confiscated 50,000 metres of imported cloth weighing five tons and eight cartons containing non-duty paid cigars and cigarettes.
