LAHORE: The Customs authorities have seized illegally imported Rani Juice, chocolates and polyester worth Rs 10 million, official sources said.
Sources told Customs Today that the Customs authorities intercepted a container which was coming from Karachi loaded with illegal juice, chocolates and other illegal items.
They added that the owner of the container was a trader who was later identified as Ilyas and he was going to dump the illegal juice and chocolates in the Lahore markets.
It was added that the Customs authorities seized the items near Shahdara after the owner failed to produce import documents.
The sources said that the Customs authorities registered a case and started investigations.
