Customs seizes smuggled Dunhill, Benson & Hedges cigarettes from warehouse

LAHORE: Directorate of Investigation and Intelligence Customs Lahore seized 50 cartons of UK originated non-duty paid Dunhill and Benson & Hedges cigarettes on Wednesday. Official sources said that on the information of Additional Director Mohsin Rafique, anti-smuggling team raided a warehouse near General Bus Stand and seized illegally imported cigarettes worth Rs 1.5 million.

The raid was organized and conducted by Superintendent Nasir Minhas along with an inspector. The Directorate of anti-smuggling lodged an FIR in this regard. However, no culprit was arrested or mentioned in the FIR.
