Customs seizes smuggled goods, arrests nine

SIALKOT: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has seized smuggled goods worth Rs 4 million and arrested nine accused.

Customs Intelligence Superintendent Saif Ullah told Customs Today that the smuggled goods were being moved to Lahore by trucks from tribal areas. He said that a special team set up a picket on GT Road and seized the goods after arresting as many as nine men accused of smuggling during a search operation.
