LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport, with the help of Directorate General Wildlife & Parks Punjab officials, recovered 60 pigeons which were illegally brought from Jeddah to Lahore.
Sources told Customs Today that customs team intercepted one passenger Mujahid Abbas for bringing 60 pigeons illegally from Jeddah by PIA flight PK-784. The raiding team, with the assistance of Customs authorities, took action and took the birds in custody. Sources said that after registering a case against Mujahid Abbas customs team started further investigations.
