During actions in these flights, customs staff recovered eight bottles of alcohol. The customs allowed all the passengers to go after the seizure of alcohol bottles from them.

The customs has also impounded one LED of 32 inches from a passenger. Dozens of cell phones, wireless sets and mobile accessories were also recovered from Lahore airport.

The security officers have launched an investigation into the matter. The customs has started strict checking of the luggage of the passengers, especially coming from European countries. A number of attempts of smuggling of mobile accessories and other relevant items have been aborted by the customs on Sunday and Monday. Strict checking of luggage of the Haj passengers also continues to avoid any mishap in the Haj operations.

It is a common practice that passengers, coming from European countries, carry bottles of alcohol with them but many times they leave them on the premises of the airport to avoid arrest.
