Customs staff to perform duties at Benazir Airport during Eid holidays

ISLAMABAD: Model Custom Collectorate Islamabad has prepared Eid holidays plan and assigned duties in this regard.

The government has declared five days official holidays from Friday July 17  to Tuesday July 21.

Deputy Director MCC (Hq) Islamabad told Customs Today that officers and staff of Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad will perform their duties as per routine and both the trafficking and cargo side will be functional as per routine.

He added that Additional Collector, Main Masood will supervise the staff at Bainazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad and perform his duty while Deputy Collector, Naveed Bugi will look after the passenger side during these five days during the Eidul Fitr holidays.

He further said that Dry Port Islamabad will be closed and non operational in these holidays the main gate of the port will be sealed during these holidays while only security duties were assigned to security staff for Eid ul Fitr holidays
