Research and Development (R&D) Appraisement East had recovered 17.5 metric tons of Acetic Anhydride from a warehouse in SITE area. Jamali is wanted in several FIRs. An official said that judiciary should not accord undue favors to the accused so that justice could be served.

Meanwhile, the Customs team who took the custody of the accused from Lahore and brought him back to Karachi in a response to an explanation memo from the Judge of Customs Court informed that the transit remand could not be obtained for the accused due to shortage of time as they had to return via the first available return flight. However, a notice of arrest was duly served on the accused after the delivery was taken from Lahore Police.
