Customs Intelligence team to record Ayyan Ali’s statement today

ISLAMABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation team will visit Adyala Jail to record the statement of supermodel Ayyan Ali in money laundering case today (19 March). The team will consist of investigation officer Zargham Dil, Muhammad Aslam and Deputy Superintendent I & P Saeed Ahmad. Accused Ayyan Ali will appear in the court on March 28 for case hearing.

As per initial investigation report Ayyan Ali has a residence visa of Dubai. Customs authorities revealed that this is not the first time that suspect was taking money with her, but she had done this before many times. Customs officials are trying to know the real facts behind the incident and persons supporting Ayyal Ali. In this regard Customs will also take help from CCTV cameras installed at airports to inquire her traveling dates.

But Customs authorities said that the intervention by FIA can spoil the case as Customs authorities are under great pressure regarding this case. Moreover the lawyer of Ayyan Ali is set to file basil plea into the High Court.
