LAHORE: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation is going to hold an auction of smuggled vehicles, spare-parts and other goods at the Regional Customs Office Faisalabad on January 24, 2017.
As per details available to Customs Today, the impounded cars, spare-parts, wood, fabrics, floating glass, ball bearings, wires, poly propylene, printed sheets and other goods will be put auction on ‘as it is where it is basis’. Interested parties and persons will be allowed to check the goods and participate in the auction on January 24, 2017.
The CNIC (ID card) has been required on the day of auction. The National Tax Number is also mandatory to participate in the auction.
The auctioneer of the Customs Appraisement at the NLCCT Container Terminal said the impounded cars, generators, tyres, cloths and other items will be put on auction. A number of cars, including imported heavy vehicles of Japan, will also be auctioned.
