HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Model Customs Collectorate State warehouse will hold auction of non-duty paid vehicles and seized goods on December 23, 2016 Friday (today).
Sources told Customs Today that Hyderabad Customs will present 12 vehicles in the auction included Toyota Hilux surf bearing registration number BD-2682 model1986, Mercedes Car without registration AFR 2013 model 1994 foreign origin non-duty paid Toyota Land cruiser NO-LOZ4523 model 1990, Mitsubishi Lancer Car model 2005, Sera Car model nil, Toyota land cruiser Prado NO-BD3773 model 1996 Toyota Hilux Surf without number model 1994, Toyota surf G-0615 Sukkur (Diesel) Automatic model1994 Toyota Corolla Saloon NO- BAA-440 model 2002 Toyota surf jeep RLD-8646 model nil Toyota Premio G Grade NO-AVN-704 model 2002 Bedford oil tanker NO- JP-8422. All these vehicles were seized by the Anti-Smuggling Organization ASO, Hyderabad during various anti smuggling activities in the region.
Sources said that auction will be held under the supervision of Deputy Collector Shahid Ali Abbasi. Sources further said that the seized items which will produce in auction included 44030 dandas of cigarettes of different brands, pine lights, London king size Ashima, marble, food item 448 crates, 85 cartons Rani float juice (made in Iran) washing powder, 16800 piece Sahil Tamil Chatni (made in Iran), 65 bundles 6240 Kg of art silk cloth, assorted brand and cut piece , 39 cartons 2 pp bags 2097 piece of readymade shirts, 44 bundles (3450 kg) of polyester fabrics cloth, electronic items 16 cartons, 192 piece of national Panasonic automatic electric iron (made in Malaysia), 33 LEDs, 32 Samsung slim 7 Nos, Samsung smart TV 24 / w 40, 45 Nos LED TV Sony.
In the others items include 222 of CNG cylinder, 810 pieces head and shoulder shampoo, Toyota Corolla and saloon Car tampered 2 engine 8 doors and other body parts will also be presented for auction.
Deputy Collector Shahid Ali Abbasi will supervise the auction which will start at 11am. It is hoped that the department will gather million of rupees as revenue by this auction.
