Customs to hold auction of smuggled goods, vehicles on Dec 27

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate, will hold auction of confiscated items on December 27, 2016 at customs warehouse situated at dry port Faisalabad.

Sources told Customs Today that the collectorate will present 76 major lots for in public auction included LCDs, clothes, solar panels, crockery, aluminium, Indian black tea, Samsung LED TV in different model series, CC TV cameras, drill grinder, refrigerator, Axal fan, and other different Lots.

Deputy Collector Rana Falik Shair will supervise the auction process, while Superintendent Muhammad Javeed and UDC Khadim Hussain will hold the auction process which will start at 11am.

Customs sources said that 14 vehicles which will be offered for auction, included Toyota double cabin Dala, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Crown car, Toyota Premio Car, Mitsubishi Lancer,Toyota fielder car, Toyota Crolla car, Honda civic car, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Hilux double cabin Dala, Toyota Passo Motor car, Toyota Hiace and Mitsubishi Pejaro.

All these vehicles and others items were seized by the Customs Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang, and Sara-e-Muhajir during anti-smuggling activities in the region.

The Customs Faisalabad is presenting all those vehicles and goods which were ripped up and their seizure cases were properly concluded after the adjudication of seized goods.
