The meeting was held at the Customs House Lahore. It was decided that Pakistan Customs will seek help from Punjab Police and Pakistan Rangers to eliminate smuggling.

Customs might write a letter to both the security agencies to take help for this purpose.

A list of 25 most wanted smugglers was also discussed at the meeting. These wanted smugglers are involved in smuggling of different items from Afghanistan and Iran to Pakistan through FATA and Chaman routes. These smuggled goods are being supplied to the markets of Lahore and other cities through a network of smugglers and their facilitators.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation is already working against these accused involved in smuggling through these routes. A number of cases had been registered by the Customs Intelligence  in this regard.
