Customs Tribunal adjourns 14 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Chairman Justice (r) Malik Manzoor Hussain and Technical Member Khawaja Omer Mehdi heard 14 cases on Wednesday and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

The bench heard 14 cases, including Flying Board versus Lahore Customs, Javaid International versus Lahore Customs, Madin Enterprises versus Lahore Customs, Sambrial Customs Collector versus Services Individuals and Imperial electric versus Lahore Customs.

On Thursday, the tribunal also heard cases, including Sultan Mehmood versus Lahore Customs, collector of Lahore Customs versus Honda Atlas Cars, Khaminullah versus Lahore Customs, collector of Multan Customs versus Muhammad Suleman.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard the cases of Naveed Ahmed versus Lahore Customs, Naveed Cargo versus Lahore Customs, Muhammad Alam Khan versus Faisalabad Customs and Ziarat Khan versus Multan Customs.

No any case was decided on the day, as all cases were adjourned for next date of hearing. In all cases the counsels for appellants appeared before the court and presented arguments. After hearing argument, the members also issued necessary directions in the cases.

It is pertinent to mention here that that bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 10 cases on Tuesday and also adjourned all of them until the next hearing.
