Customs Tribunal adjourns hearing four tax cases

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal heard four customs cases during fourth week of August.

A single bench of Customs Appellate Tribunal heard four customs references and adjourned hearing till third week of September.

Customs appellate tribunal’s Member Technical, Ziuddin Wazir heard the cases. Raja Nabeel, Waqas Enterprises, Arshad Khan and Musawir Shah had filed the cases.

Raja Nabeel had filed the cases against Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad. Other three appellants had filed their cases against Model Collectorate ofCustoms, Islamabad.

It is pertinent to mention that Ziuddin Wazir had been appointed as Member Technical at the tribunal couple of weeks ago and he had just resumed hearing cases at the tribunal.

Last week he had accompanied in hearing some cases, however, this time he would hear cases alone as single bench.
