Customs Tribunal Division Bench-II hears 14 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II (single and double), comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 14 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearings.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s single bench, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, heard four cases including Mukhtar Khan versus customs Faisalabad, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat versus Muhammad Luqman, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Al-Hussain Trading and Muhammad Hussain versus customs Faisalabad.

On Tuesday, the tribunal division bench-II heard 10 cases of Sadiq Muhammad versus customs Lahore, Tahir Rauf versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Imteaz Ahmed versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Humyun Akber versus customs Lahore and Fatima Fertilizers versus Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard customs Lahore versus Tabish Corporation, Abdul Raziq versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, A.M Construction Company versus customs Lahore and Ibraheem Majeed versus valuation Lahore.

In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favour of their respective parties.

The tribunal reserved few verdicts and adjourns all other cases till the next dates. Tribunal will hear other cases in the next date of hearing.
