Customs tribunal hears 12 cases, adjourns all

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s division bench-II, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 12 cases and adjourned all of them until the next hearing.

A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Imran Tariq, heard one case of Muhammad Akram versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

On Thursday, the division bench-II heard 11 cases including Customs Multan Versus Kakub Enterprises, Muhammad Ashraf Versus Customs Faisalabad, Malik Fawad Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, A. Z Apreal Versus Customs Faisalabad and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad Versus Hijveery Steel 02 appeals.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard Farhad Ali Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Muhamamd Younis Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Al-Hamra Fabrics Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, D. K. Industries Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Tahir Rauf Versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad Versus Beco Steel 02 appeals.

In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties.

The tribunal reserved few judgements and adjourned all other cases till the next dates.
