Customs Tribunal postpones hearing of 20 cases for different dates

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) Bench heard 20 cases’ hearing on Wednesday and adjourned the hearing of all the cases for different dates without those few ones whose verdicts are reserved.

The Division Bench-II, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 19 cases including Tariq Mehmood versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, A H Textile versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Imran Khan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Jeelan Logistics versus Customs Faisalabad.

Furthermore, the same bench heard cases of Munir Jalal versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Beijing Print versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Abdul Baseer versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Raees Umer and Rubeena Mubisher versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

On Wednesday, Shaheen Builders versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Collector Customs Lahore versus Bitumen Traders, Sohail Sadiq versus Customs Lahore, Khadim Hussain versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Malik Zahid Rasheed versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Mirza Rizwan Baig, Ghulam Murtaza versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Barkat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan.

The Single Bench-I, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial, heard one case of the Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) versus ANQ Traders.
