Customs Tribunal puts off all 11 cases’ hearing until next date

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal’s Division Bench-II, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq, heard 11 cases and adjourned all of them till the next hearing.

A Single Bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Imran Tariq, heard three cases of Customs Lahore versus Kaleem Saleem, Nasir Durani versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Salman Daud versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

On Tuesday, the division bench-II heard eight cases including Sadiq Muhammad versus Customs Lahore, Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore, Raja Intezar Mehboob versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Furqan Zubair versus Customs Sambrial.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard Anas Zubair versus Customs Sambrial, Customs Faisalabad versus Muhammad Amin, Customs Faisalabad versus Iftekhar Ahmed and Inam Traders versus Customs Lahore.

In all the cases, representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties.

The tribunal reserved few verdicts and postponed all other cases till the next dates.
