Customs Tribunal reserves verdicts in six cases

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal has reserved the verdicts in six cases after completion of hearing, while decisions will be announced in upcoming days.

A division bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard six cases, including Muhammad Zaman versus Lahore Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Muhammad Sadiq versus Lahore Customs Intelligence and Muhammad Latif versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Customs Intelligence versus Gulfam Ali, Lahore Customs Intelligence versus Mian Ahsan and other.

In all the six cases, arguments have been completed by both complainants and respondents. Yesterday, the counsels for the appellants appeared before the court and argued in favour of their parities. After hearing the cases, Members Omer Arshed Hakeem and Imran Tariq reserved the verdicts that will be announced soon. Except these six cases, the Customs Tribunal also heard other cases and adjourned until next date of hearing.
