Customs Tribunal to hear 5 tax references involving DG I&I, Islamabad Collectorate today

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II will hear five tax references on Wednesday involving Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (DG I&I) and Model Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.

Customs Appellate Tribunal Division Bench comprising Member Technical, Muhammad Maqsood ul Hassan and Member Technical, Muhammad Nasir Khan will hear the references.

M/S Amson Vaccines, Jamshed Alam and Adil Khan had filed references against MCC, Islamabad. M/s AMSON Vaccines had filed petition challenging customs department orders panelizing it for paying short-duty in head of different imported items.

Appellants, Jamshed Alam and Adil Khan, had made Model customs collectorate, Islamabad, respondent in their petitions challenging its decision before the tribunal. The MCC had punished them under allegation of smuggling foreign currency, worth Rs 6 million.

M/S Win Pipe Industries and Muhammad Siddique had filed tax matters against DG I&I, Islamabad.
