FBR notifies transfer of six customs officials in Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notification to transfer and post six officials who were performing their duties in Lahore, Sialkot and Faisalabad.

According to the notification no: 1920/C-III/2017, Superintendent Customs Collectorate of Preventive Lahore Sardar Mohammad is transferred to Customs Collectorate Faisalabad, while Superintendent Sardar Ali Ejaz Bajwa, who is currently posted at Customs Collectorate Faisalabad, has been transferred to Customs Preventive Lahore with immediate effect.

Superintendent Sohail Ansar is performing his duties at Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs) is transferred as Superintendent Customs Collectorate Sialkot.

Inspector Masood Saeed Chohan of Customs Preventive Lahore is transferred and posted as Inspector Customs Collectorate Faisalabad, while Inspector Mahmood Ahmad Dogar is transferred and posted as Inspector at Customs Collectorate Faisalabad. The notification stated that all officials who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of the notification shall continue to draw the allowance ontheir new place of posting.  All the officials will resume the charge of their new responsibilities immediately.

It is necessary to mention here that after the start of current Fiscal Year 2017-18 more transfers and postings are expected in near future. Sources told that these measures are taken to achieve revenue collection target of 2017-18.
