Customs unearths Rs3b tax evasion at Karachi Port, Port Qasim

KARACHI: Customs Intelligence unearthed tax evasion amounting to Rs 3 billion at Karachi Port, Port Qasim and airport and took responsible persons into custody.

The revenue of Rs 249 million was also realised during this period through auction of confiscated goods and other measures, depicting 249 percent growth in terms of revenue, which was reported Rs 62 million during the same period last year.
