Customs Valuation ‘revalues’ disposable syringes with needles

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) Directorate General Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of disposable syringes with needles.

Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of disposable syringes with needles vide Valuation Ruling No. 888/2016 after observing that the values of disposable syringes with needles have considerably increased in the international market as compared to the values determined earlier vide Valuation Ruling No. 450/2012. An exercise was initiated to determine the values of disposable syringes under PCT 9018.

The customs values of disposable syringes with needles 1ml of China are fixed at $1.75/kg, of all other origins at $2.10/kg. The customs values of disposable syringes with needles 3ml of China are fixed at $1.85/kg, of all other origins at $2.25/kg. The customs values of disposable syringes with needles 5ml of China are fixed at $1.95/kg, of all other origins at $2.35/kg. The customs values of disposable syringes with needles 10ml of China are fixed at $2.95/kg, of all other origins at $3.60/kg.
