Customs Valuation revises value of interlining buckram material

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue’s Directorate of Customs Valuation has fixed values of woven interlining buckram.

Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon revised the customs values of the above said item through Valuation Ruling No.926/2016.

The valuation of woven interlining buckram was determined after a manufacturer, Aruj Industries Ltd, lodged a complaint regarding under-invoicing of the good. The values of these goods were earlier determined through Ruling No.428/2012 and needed revision.

The customs values of woven interlining buckram material (black) under PCT 5901 of China are fixed at $5.14/kg, of Korea at $5.65/kg and all other origins at $5.75/kg.

The customs values of woven interlining buckram material (white) under PCT 5901 of China are fixed at $4.9/kg, of Korea at $5.39/kg and all other origins at $5.49/kg.

The customs values of non-woven interlining buckram material (black) under PCT 5603 of China are fixed at $4.63/kg, of Korea at $5.09/kg and all other origins at $5.19/kg.

The customs values of non-woven interlining buckram material (white) under PCT 5603 of China are fixed at $4.41/kg, of Korea at $4.84/kg and all other origins at $4.94/kg.
