Customs values of almonds re-determined

KARACHI: Directorate General of Customs Valuation has re-determined the customs values of almonds under section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969 through a Valuation Ruling No. 635/2014, which superseded the previous VR No. 604/2013 of almonds issued on November 4, 2013.

According to details, customs value of almonds in shells (soft cover) from all origins excluding Iran and Afghanistan, having Pakistan Customs Tariffs (PCT) code 0802.1100 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 0802.1100.1000, has been fixed at $ 0.85 per kg.

Customs value of almonds in shells (hard cover) from all origins excluding Iran and Afghanistan, having PCT code 0802.1100 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 0802.1100.1200, has been fixed at $ 0.60 per kg.

Customs value of almonds in shells (hard cover) from Iran and Afghanistan, having PCT code 0802.1100 and proposed PCT for WeBOC 0802.1100.1300, has been fixed at $ 0.55 per kg.

Customs value of almonds unshelled from all origins excluding Iran and Afghanistan, having PCT code 0802.1200 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 0802.1200.1000, has been fixed at $ 1.88 per kg.

Customs value of almonds unshelled from Iran and Afghanistan, having PCT code 0802.1200 and proposed PCT code for WeBOC 0802.1200.1100, has been fixed at $ 1.60 per kg.
