Customs Wagha will undertake clearance of 200 Pakistanis stranded in India tomorrow

LAHORE: Pakistan Customs Wagha Border will undertake clearance of 200 stranded Pakistanis in India on (Thursday) September 3.

The High Commission of Pakistan in New Delhi has requested for assistance for facilitating movement of their nationals from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to Attari for their return via Attari-Wagah crossing on September 3, 2020.

Details of vehicles and foreign nationals who would be travelling in these vehicles were given to Pakistani authorities while all movement of the aforesaid vehicles may be facilitated for enabling them to reach Attari in the morning of 03 September 2020.

With vehicles may be allowed to return to the starting point or place of residence as the case may be after dropping them at Attari.

It was requested that all returning Pakistan nationals be screened as per international norms and following the health protocol in place.

In case of need for any further assistance, Jawad Ali, Counsellor at the High Commission of Pakistan may be contacted.
