Customs will extend full support to SMEs: Additional Collector Waheed Abro

SIALKOT: Additional Collector Customs Abdul Waheed Abro has said that the Customs Department is functioning in proper way and all officials are cooperating with importers and exporters and even with passengers on Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) without any greed.

Talking to Customs Today here the other day, Abro said that all the officials have vowed to perform their duties honestly and devotedly.

He said that Sialkot is export oriented city and is really hub of export. He said that the Customs Department is generating better revenue from export and export consignments from Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) and airport.

He said that ratio of clearance of wrong consignments from Sialkot is not in record rather the exporters and importers of Sialkor are straight forward persons. He said that the exporters of Sialkot are backbone of our economy. He said that promotion of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is very appropriate . He said the department is providing every possible support to SMEs exporters so that they can increase their export and play vital role for strengthening of economy.
