LAHORE: Czech model Teresa, indicted for smuggling heroin to United Arab Emirates (UAE), started crying in the court over long hearings.

According to details available to Customs Today, the foreign model said that she is tired of attending court hearings every day but there is no progress in the case. She wondered when the case will be decided.

The hearing was adjourned without any proceeding while the crying model was shifted to Bakhshi Khana.

The 21-year-old model Teresa, belonging to Czech Republic, was taken into custody from Allama Iqbal International Airport in January when she attempted to smuggle 9kg heroin to United Arab Emirates.

The Pakistan Customs Investigation and Prosecution team Lahore had submitted the supplementary investigation challan of the case against Czech model Treza Hulsekova.

During hearing of the case, lawyer of the model Asghar Mehmood Dogar was present in the court with the accused lady smuggler.

Earlier, the session court indicted the Czech model in the heroin smuggling case but Hluskova pleaded not guilty before the court.

She was arrested by customs after she managed to pass through the two checking counters of the ANF. The model, however, says she did not know how the drugs found their way into her bag as she visited Pakistan just for professional engagements.
