Dastgir to highlight achievements of Pak-US Business Opportunities Conference today

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Commerce, Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan will highlight achievements and milestones achieved in two-day 3rd Pak-US Business Opportunities Conference here today (Thursday).

“In a post conference news conference here at Ministry of Commerce (MoC), Dastgir will play up efforts carried out by ministry as well as pay tribute to concerned officials for working day and night to make the event success” a well placed source privy to Minister for Commerce told this scribe here on Wednesday.

 In his speech, Minister will cover issues, challenges, and problems confronted by ministry in the organizations of the said conference as well as possible outcome of the endevour made by him.

 Similarly, in he would also present a summary of proceedings, discussions along with recommendations forwarded by the participants of the conference for making foreign investment more attractive and easing the foreign investors.

 Minister will also make special reference to launch of the U.S.-Pakistan Partnership for Access to Credit program by the American government under which loan capital will be provided to under served businesses to help them expand, create jobs and increase revenues.

 Moreover, he will also declare participation of over 160 American business delegates and demonstration of their interest in briefings and panel discussions as major success of the conference.
