ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday extended the date for filing of income tax returns/statements for the tax year 2018.
The FBR, exercising the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, extended the date for filing income tax returns upto December 15.
The date of filing tax returns was due on August 31 and was extended upto November 30 and now has further been extended to December 15,
Meanwhile, the date of filing of returns of total income and statement of final taxation for companies, individuals and association of persons which were due on September 30 and extended upto November 30, has further extended up to December 15.
