DC Adjudication Asma Hameed hears 20 cases

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard 20 of smuggling and tax evasion cases involving duties and taxes.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard cases of smuggled foreign origin wooden planks, crockery, shoes, auto-parts, plastic Dana, polyester yarn, Zeera, cloth, red chilies, baby lotion, Q-mobiles numbered 128 pieces, liquor numbered 18 bottles and skimmed milk, peanut and other miscellaneous items during the hearing.

She heard four cases of Anti-Smuggling Organizations (ASO) Mianwali and three cases of Sara-e-Muhajir ASO involving duties and taxes. Adjudication Deputy Collector also heard one case of ASO Faisalabad.

Asma Hameed heard five cases of tax evasion filed by Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I and I) Faisalabad and four cases of Field Anti-Smuggling Jhang. She also heard three cases against W.Y Traders, B and D Traders, E.R Brothers Company submitted by PCA Lahore. She heard only smuggling cases referred by the Air Freight Unit (AFU) Faisalabad.
