DC Customs Adjudication Saima decides case of Dattaa Corporation

MULTAN: The Customs Adjudication decided a case of duty tax evasion of Dattaa Corporation Limited and ordered to confiscate their goods.

Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Saima Ayyaz decided the case No 34/2014 after hearing the case.

Dattaa Corporation Company Limited has imported different engines and generators of different capacity including gas and diesel for energy purpose.

The engines and generators were imported from China and they were of different capacity power generators and the company imported these imported generators and engines few months ago.

Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized their goods after the fake import documents were presented for the clearance of their goods. Owner of the Dattaa Corporation Company failed in providing any concrete evidence of their ownership. So the deputy collector Customs Adjudication concluded the decision with confiscation of power generators and engines of the Dataa Corporation Company. The total worth of the imported generators and engines was Rs 1.5 million.
