DDB rates: Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool holds meeting of officials, staff

KARACHI: Director Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO) Shahnaz Maqbool has held a meeting of the officers and staff of the organization at her office here.

During the meeting, Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool reviewed the performance of the officers and also asked them to ensure early completion of the survey reports conducted by the authorities concerned about industrial and production units registered with the IOCO.

The director further directed the authorities to expedite the work to finalize Duty Draw Back (DDB) rates, so that new rates would be implemented.

The IOCO authorities concerned were briefed the Director IOCO about the working being continued in determining the DDB rates adding that those rates would be finalized soon.

On the occasion, the authorities concerned further expressed their concerned over the implementation of DDB rates by the field formation Collectorates.

During the meeting, the Director IOCO Shahnaz Maqbool further stressed on determination of wastage accurately and asked the authorities concerned to be vigilant while determining the wastage of the raw material imported from different countries.
